Overview
Protide is a dry-processed pea protein manufacturer in China, with its own factory in Shandong. Grades contain at least 80% or 85% dry-basis protein for bulk nutrition, bakery and savory-food orders.
D85A, D80A and D80B are the documented dry-processed models made from non-GMO North American yellow peas. They are separate from the organic O-series. Our Shandong factory has operated since 1995 with 8,000 MT annual capacity and 20 kg bag packing.

Specifications apply to the named grade. Typical nutritional and amino acid values are listed separately in the series TDS. Use the batch COA for acceptance.
Applications
Smoothie powders
Evaluate a D-series grade in smoothie powders at the intended protein level. Compare wetting, flavor and mouthfeel when the mix is prepared with its normal liquid ingredients.
Protein bars
Compare D85A, D80A or D80B against its specification in bar trials. Check incorporation, moisture balance and firmness through the proposed storage period.
Bakery products
Trial dry-processed pea protein in bakery products and baked snacks. Check water addition, dough handling, flavor and finished texture at the recipe’s intended inclusion level.
Meat alternatives
For meat-alternative trials, test the selected D-series grade with the other proteins and structuring ingredients. Compare hydration, mixing and cooked texture.
Savory seasoning mixes
Blend D-series pea protein into savory seasonings and dry-food mixes. Check distribution, flavor and preparation of the finished serving.
Nutrition powder blends
Use a named D-series grade in blended nutrition powders. Calculate protein contribution from the agreed specification and assess blend uniformity, taste and reconstitution.

FAQ
Which dry-processed models are listed?
The dry-processed models are D85A, D80A and D80B, with minimum dry-basis protein of 85% or 80% by model. Review the full quality limits, then request the TDS and a sample of the exact grade you intend to order.
Is dry-processed pea protein an organic grade?
Dry-processed describes this D-series range and does not establish organic status. The organic O-series is listed separately and requires its own supply-chain documentation. If organic sourcing is part of your brief, request the corresponding organic grade and certificates rather than applying that claim to a D-series order.
How should I compare dry-processed and conventional pea protein?
Compare the named D- and C-series specifications on the same protein basis, then trial the relevant samples in the complete recipe. Review flavor, hydration, texture and your actual processing conditions. The range names alone do not establish a quantified performance advantage or a one-for-one substitution.
Which documents should accompany a D-series pea protein order?
Request the TDS for D85A, D80A or D80B, an applicable SDS and the batch COA for the material supplied. Confirm source and non-GMO documentation as required for your market. Keep typical nutrition data separate from the quality limits used for batch acceptance.
What determines the price of bulk dry-processed pea protein?
MOQ is 500 kg. Price depends on grade, quantity, packing, destination and Incoterm. Send your volume and destination for a quote within one business day.
