About Brown rice protein

Protide is a brown rice protein supplier in China, offering HYDRORICE™ BRC80 and BRH80 for protein powders, bars and blended foods. Both grades provide at least 80% protein on a dry basis, with their own grade identification and batch documentation.

  • BRC80 and BRH80: The listed protein, moisture, ash, fiber, pH and microbiological limits are the same for both grades.
  • Compare dispersion, flavor and mouthfeel in your recipe. Use the selected grade’s TDS and sample results to agree any additional processing requirements.

Brown rice protein applications

Protein powders

Compare BRC80 and BRH80 in dry protein powders. Both specify at least 80% dry-basis protein; trial wetting, flavor and reconstitution before choosing the named grade for supply.

Protein shakes

Check the selected brown rice grade for hydration, mouthfeel and sediment when the shake is prepared at serving concentration and after storage.

Nutrition bars

Trial BRC80 or BRH80 in nutrition bars. Check incorporation and flavor in the full recipe, then track moisture balance and firmness over the proposed shelf life.

Bakery enrichment

Trial brown rice protein in breads or baked snacks. Match the intended protein contribution and compare dough handling, color and finished texture after baking.

Plant-based foods

Evaluate brown rice protein in plant-based foods. Record water addition and mixing conditions while comparing flavor and texture in the complete cooked or prepared recipe.

Dry food premixes

Use BRC80 or BRH80 in dry food premixes. Check handling and blend consistency, then hydration or reconstitution using the normal preparation method.

Brown rice protein FAQ

What is the specification difference between BRC80 and BRH80?

Both BRC80 and BRH80 specify at least 80% dry-basis protein and share the listed quality limits. The specifications give no numerical solubility, viscosity or molecular-weight difference. Identify the grade in your order and compare samples in your process before choosing.

How does brown rice protein compare with brown rice protein peptide?

BRC80 and BRH80 are the brown rice protein grades; BRS85 is listed separately as brown rice protein peptide and has an 85% protein minimum. Their moisture and microbiological limits also differ. Compare the matching TDS documents and recipe performance rather than treating the products as interchangeable.

Can I use brown rice protein in bars and powders?

Brown rice protein can be evaluated in nutrition powders, bars and food blends. Check protein contribution, powder wetting, flavor and final texture at the proposed inclusion level. For beverages, include sediment and storage observations in your trial because the specification does not guarantee a clear or fully soluble drink.

What is needed to order brown rice protein?

Choose BRC80 or BRH80 and provide your application, quantity and destination. The listed MOQ is 500 kg, packed in 20 kg PE-lined bags. Request the corresponding TDS, SDS and batch COA, and confirm any market documents. Agree sample quantity, courier arrangements and the purchase specification for that named grade.
